Anna Faye McBride Holland was born on March 10, 1935, to Charles Eberly McBride and Una Esther Walls-McBride in Orange County, Indiana. Anna was raised on a small Indiana farm. Her family attended the Church of Christ Christian Church.
She was a warm, kind, and caring woman. Anna was an easy-going free spirit with a vivacious sense of humor. She had an accepting and generous heart. She was lovely to talk to. Anna was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was beloved by family and friends.
Anna Faye was an admirer of cinema and country music; she also was an avid reader who enjoyed word search puzzles, cooking, bingo, and trivia games.
At the age of eighteen, Anna graduated from high school and married Earl Holland. She worked in the food industry as a cook and waitress.
Following a brief illness, Anna Faye Holland crossed over to her blessing on January 16, 2018, at Lakeview Manor Nursing Facility in Indianapolis, Indiana at the age of 82 years.
Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Kelly Holland (1986), her son, Donald Gene Holland (2015), her sisters Wanda McCammack, Shirley Burnt, and Lota Delores Chance, and her brother Joseph Stewart.
Anna is survived by her children: Stephen Kelly Holland, Barbara Ann Campbell, Brenda Lee Parezo, William Earl Holland, Wilbert Dale Holland, Rose Marie Covington, Robert Michael Holland, and William James Condra.
Carrying on Anna’s legacy are her grandchildren: James, Jarell, Xavier, Ebony, Eric Jr., Monchell, Heather, Chelsea, Melissa, Diane, Christian, Allison, Sara, Andrew, Tina, and Sandra. She was also blessed with nine great-grandchildren. Anna will be greatly lamented, and held in the hearts of her loved ones forever.
A Memorial service will be held for Ms. Anna Faye Holland on Saturday, January 20, 2018, at the Harry W. Moore Chapel, 8151 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, Indiana 46250 from 12 – 2 pm.
